what spring to use to lower fps to 350

Hi all, I just recently ordered a Trident CRB and I had a question. My local CQB field has an FPS limit of 350, but I have heard the gun typically shoots at 360-380 out of the box. After enough rounds has anyone seen their FPS settle under 350? Or do y'all recall information technology'south necessary to switch to some other leap?

Note:

I read in another thread that the stock spring is somewhere between a 110 and 120, so I'm thinking either a 110 or a 100.

Besides, anyone take a link to a youtube video on how to switch the bound?

Thanks!

It you want to employ it someday shortly y'all should probably drop in a lower spring. I don't know exactly what information technology settles to, but it may or may non driblet below 350.

In the future I will record a video on doing a leap swap, but for at present yous tin probably merely search how to swap a bound on like an ICS m4 or something.

There will exist a few differences, such as the ambi-selector switch and whether or non it has a crane stock.

Also if you are opening it for the first time, the motor does not have a post blacked out for the negative. There is a little positive logo in the metal that I noticed last fourth dimension, simply to avoid mistakes grab a blackness sharpie and mark the negative side with a little black on the footling round post.

ok not bad thanks for the input, and I'1000 looking forward to the video

and i'll go along in mind the positive/negative notation.

I'g thinking i'll try a m105 spring in there based on this graph:

Update: I but talked to a local tech who told me that in the Krytacs m100 springs will shoot 360 or then and eventually settle to just nether 350. So if I want it lower off the bat I accept to put in an m90 jump.

Hi Papacoleman,
Springs exercise settle after several thou rounds.  Did you lot attempt breaking in the jump to run into if settled below 350fps with .20s?

Tangent,
No I didn't. I ended upward getting an m95 jump and having information technology installed. Chrono'd effectually 340 with .2 bbs.

Just bought a Lancer m90 and installed it in my CRB this morning and chrono reads between 330-348

If the m90 FPS decreases besides much I might buy an m95 and give a a good break in to go it under 350

I'm playing at an indoor CQB place tomorrow, and they have a 350fps cap with .20g bbs. My CRB was shooting 383fps with the stock bound AND a 363mm half dozen.03mm tightbore barrel. I have since put in an M90 jump, but I haven't had a gamble to chrono my gun all the same. My worry is that I will go to the field tomorrow and still exist shooting over 350fps with .20's. Do you guys call up I will exist ok with the M90 bound? Whatever input would be Profoundly appreciated. Thanks!

How-do-you-do, Out the box my crb was 330 fps and i fitted an M110, it was shooting at 450-470.. I replaced that with a fresh M100 at present it's sitting at 370-380 fps!
